Construction Accident Case Timeline

We were talking to a new client recently about a construction site injury case, and she wanted to know how long it would take to resolve her case. That is a question that we get a lot. It’s an important question, but also a very hard question to answer. The most important thing in the beginning is making sure you’re getting the treatment that you need so you can recover from your injuries. We want you to be focused on doing what you need to get your life back.

While a doctor is treating your injuries, we will be working on your case, gathering all the evidence and preparing so that, when your doctor says you’re done with treatment, we can then submit a claim to the insurance carrier and try to settle the case. If the insurance carrier is fair and reasonable and willing to pay your damages, then we may be able to reach a settlement quickly and resolve your case quite quickly. However, if the insurance carrier is not willing to resolve the case fair and reasonably, then we will have to file suit and may have to take your case all the way to trial. Those things will take extra time, but regardless of how much time it takes, our sole focus is making sure we get the best recovery for you.
