We got a good question recently from someone. Their question was if they are injured by an employee, are they able to pursue a negligent security claim against the employer? The answer is yes. The employer has a responsibility to provide employees that can perform the job properly and who will not injure other people. If the injury is a result of the employer’s failure to either hire the right people, or train their employees, or supervise their employees, then you can absolutely pursue a negligent security case against the employer.
