The first thing you really want to focus on when you have a medical malpractice case is getting the treatment that you need to recover from the medical negligence. While you’re doing that, we will be preparing your case, gathering all of the evidence, and securing all the expert evidence that we need to present your case. Once we have an idea of what the full extent of your damages is, and once you’re done with treatment or at least at a place that we understand what the future looks like for you, then we will present a claim to the insurance carrier.

If the insurance carrier is willing to resolve the case fairly and reasonably to cover your damages, then we might be able to settle the case, but if they’re not, and oftentimes they are not in medical malpractice cases willing to pay for your damages, we have to be prepared to file suit and take the case to a jury trial which will take additional time. Regardless of the amount of time involved, we will be focused on and our goal will be to ensure that we get you the best recovery.
