How long does it take to settle a personal injury case in Kansas?

It’s impossible to answer that question in the first phone call with someone. There are a lot of attorneys out there that would tell you that they can do that, but it’s really impossible to do that. What you need to really be worried about or focused on at this point is getting the treatment that you need and getting better.
We will work on your case while you’re doing that and have everything prepared and in a position so that when you are done treating, or when the doctor determines that you’re at maximum medical improvement, meaning once the doctor determines that there really isn’t any other treatment that’s going to make you better – you may still need some ongoing medication, treatment, but there aren’t any surgeries or big types of treatment that are going to improve your condition. Once the doctor determines you’re at that stage, then we will have everything prepared.
We will reach out to the insurance company and see if they’re willing to pay a fair and reasonable amount for your damages. If they are, then we would be able to get the case settled quickly. If they are not willing to pay a fair and reasonable amount, then it’s going to take some more time, and we’re going to work the case as long as necessary. Our number one goal is to get you the best recovery for your injuries. We’re not here to just get it done quickly for you if that’s not going to result in the best recovery for you.
