Someone gave us a call the other day and were asking us how much it costs to hire an attorney for a personal injury case in Kansas. That is a concern of most people who have been injured in Kansas because, of course, they have a lot of other expenses going on at the same time, and the last thing anybody wants to worry about is how they’re going to pay an attorney.

We work on a contingency fee, so it doesn’t cost you anything to hire us to help you with your case. All that means is that our fee is a percentage of whatever we recover for you, and we don’t get paid that fee until the check arrives from the insurance company. You’re never going to get a bill from us. You don’t have to pay a retainer upfront like you do with a lot of other attorneys. We literally get paid a percentage of whatever we recover for you. When that payment is received, that is when our fee is paid, so you don’t ever have to worry about that.
